Ikari (released internationally as Ikari Warriors) is a classic top-down run-and-gun shooter developed by SNK and released for the Famicom (NES) in 1986. Playing as commandos Ralf and Clark, you crash-land behind enemy lines and must fight your way through hostile territory using machine guns, grenades, and commandeered enemy tanks.
How to Play
Navigate the treacherous terrain and defeat the enemy forces to reach the village of Ikari. In the browser, use the Arrow Keys to move your commando (which also aims your weapon), press Z to shoot your machine gun, and X to throw grenades. Use Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
Ammo and grenades are limited, so keep an eye out for flashing supply crates. When you hop into an enemy tank, you gain heavy firepower and armor, but remember that the tank requires fuel to operate, which you must also scavenge along the way.
