Sky Destroyer is a 1985 aerial combat shooter from Taito, released for the NES. You pilot a fighter plane against successive waves of enemy aircraft, combining sharp reflexes with an eye for formation patterns to push your score as high as possible.
How to play
Arrow keys move your plane. X fires your main weapon; Z activates your secondary attack. Press Enter to start a game and Shift for Select.
Tips
- Enemy planes arrive in set formations — read the pattern early and position yourself before the wave spreads out, rather than reacting after the fact.
- Movement is your best defence. Staying in motion is more effective than trying to hold a fixed position.
