Frankenstein’s Monster is a 1983 platformer for the Atari 2600, published by Data Age. You guide a hunter climbing through the floors of a dark castle, throwing rocks at creatures that block your path, in a race to reach the top and strike the monster before its assembly is complete. A gauge tracks the monster’s progress — when it fills, the game ends.
How to Play
Move between platforms using the arrow keys and climb ladders to ascend each floor. Rocks are scattered across the screens; pick them up and press Spacebar to throw them at enemies blocking your way. Reach the top and destroy the monster before the assembly gauge completes.

Tips
- Collect rocks as soon as you reach each floor — they are your only weapon for clearing enemies blocking ladders.
- The assembly gauge advances continuously; move upward whenever a safe opening appears rather than lingering on lower floors.
- Most enemies patrol fixed routes. Watching one full cycle before committing to a ladder lets you slip through safely.
