🎮 Play Fester’s Quest Online (NES)

Fester’s Quest is a 1989 overhead action-shooter for the NES developed by Sun Electronics. Based on The Addams Family, it follows Uncle Fester as he navigates a sprawling, maze-like city to repel an alien invasion.

How to play

You control Fester from a top-down perspective, using the arrow keys to move and Z or X to shoot and use items. The objective is to survive the city streets, defeat alien bosses, and upgrade your primary weapon by collecting blue gun icons (while avoiding the red ones that downgrade your firepower).

Tips

Avoid shooting near walls in narrow corridors, as your projectiles will often collide with the scenery instead of hitting enemies. Focus on finding other members of the Addams Family scattered around the map, as they provide essential items like TNT and health-restoring potions.
