Game description:

Emoyan no 10 Bai Pro Yakyuu is a baseball simulation game released for the Famicom (NES) in 1989 by Hect. Named after former professional pitcher Takenori “Emoyan” Emoto, this title steps away from the typical arcade-style sports action of the 8-bit era. Instead of manual fielding and simple swings, it focuses heavily on the strategic duel between pitcher and batter, using a grid system to predict ball movement and batting reach.

How to Play

Your objective is to outscore the opposing team by making smart tactical decisions at the plate and on the mound. As a NES title, you can play in the browser using standard controls: the arrow keys act as the D-pad for aiming on the grid, X is the A button, Z is the B button, Enter is Start, and Shift is Select.

Tips

  • Master the Grid: When batting, success depends entirely on reading the grid system and predicting the pitch location before the ball arrives.
  • Focus on the Duel: Since fielding is handled automatically by the game, you can concentrate all your strategy on selecting the right pitches and outsmarting the batter.
