Electrician is a challenging action-platformer ported to the Famicom Disk System by Kemco in 1986. Originally developed by Synapse Software for Atari 8-bit computers, the game tasks you with restoring power to eight different buildings. You must navigate vertically scrolling stages, laying wire across the floors and ceilings of crawl spaces, all while avoiding the various pests that occupy the buildings.
How to Play
Your objective is to lay down wire across every story of a building and connect those lines to plugs located in the floors and ceilings.
- D-pad / Arrow Keys: Move left or right, squat (down), reach high (up), and climb ladders.
- A Button (Z): Hold while moving to lay wire. Press Up or Down while laying wire near a plug to connect it. In sewer levels, toggles your flashlight.
- B Button (X): Jump (straight up or diagonally).
Tips
- Watch your step: Electrician is notoriously unforgiving with fall damage. Dropping from too great a height will instantly cost you a life, requiring careful and precise jumping.
- Use the exterior: You can climb along the outside walls of the buildings to safely transition between different areas and bypass dangerous interior sections.
