Released for DOS in 1986, Bubble Bobble is Taito’s classic action platformer where you guide twin dragons Bub and Bob through 100 single-screen levels. To advance, you must trap enemies in bubbles and pop them before they break free, collecting the fruit left behind to maximize your score.

How to Play

The objective is to clear every enemy on the screen to drop to the next stage. The DOS port features the complete level design of the arcade original and retains the essential two-player cooperative mode. Use your bubbles not just as weapons, but as stepping stones to reach higher platforms.

Control:

Game is controlled by the same keys that are used to playing under MS DOS. For fullscreen press ‘Right Alt’ + ‘Enter’.

Tips

Bubbles float upward on invisible air currents—you can hold the jump button to bounce on them and reach high areas.
Try to cluster multiple trapped enemies together and pop them all at once for massive point bonuses.
If you take too long to clear a stage, the invulnerable Baron von Blubba will appear and chase you.
