A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia is a creative puzzle-platformer developed by Imagineering and released for the NES in 1989. How to Play
Your objective is to collect treasures on Earth to fund your trip to Blobolonia and defeat its tyrannical evil emperor. You must feed Blobert different flavors of jelly beans to transform him into vital tools like ladders, bridges, and trampolines. Use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to toss a jelly bean, X to whistle for Blobert, Shift to cycle through your jelly bean flavors, and Enter to pause.
Tips
- Memorize the flavor transformations early onโLicorice creates a ladder, Tangerine makes a trampoline, and Strawberry forms a bridge.
- If Blobert gets stuck behind an obstacle or you need him quickly, press X to whistle and he will instantly catch up to you.
