Game description:

Beraboh Man (often known outside Japan as Bravoman) is a quirky side-scrolling action beat ’em up released by Namco in 1988 for the Arcade. You step into the shoes of an ordinary salaryman who gains the power to transform into a tokusatsu-style superhero. Armed with limbs that can stretch across the screen, you must fight through bizarre environments to stop the villainous Dr. Bomb from conquering the world.

How to Play

The objective is to fight your way to the end of each stage and defeat the boss waiting there. The original arcade cabinet used unique pressure-sensitive buttons to determine how far your attacks would reach. In the browser version, use the arrow keys to move, crouch, and jump, and press the action keys (typically Z, X, or C) to throw extending punches, kicks, or headbutts.

Tips

Extending your limbs leaves you briefly vulnerable to enemy attacks, so time your strikes carefully instead of mashing buttons. Keep an eye out for Fukubiki Man (Lottery Man), a friendly character who drops crucial health items and power-ups when you interact with him. Be prepared for the underwater sections, where the game briefly shifts into a horizontal shoot ’em up and you must pilot a nuclear submarine.
