Baby Boomer is an unlicensed light gun shooter released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989 by Color Dreams. In this side-scrolling arcade-style game, players must protect a baby named Boomer as he automatically crawls across hazardous stages toward home. Using a crosshair, you must clear obstacles, shoot incoming enemies, and create safe passage through dangerous environments ranging from murky swamps to haunted graveyards.
How to Play
Guide Baby Boomer safely to the end of each level by destroying threats before they touch him. You can aim and fire using the mouse cursor or standard NES controller inputs.
- Aim & Shoot: Mouse Left-Click / Z Key (B Button)
- Movement / Aiming: Mouse Cursor / Arrow Keys (D-Pad)
- Start Game: Enter (Start)
- Select Option: Shift (Select)
Game Tips
- Shoot Boomer to Jump: Firing directly at Boomer causes him to hop upward, helping him clear small gaps, spikes, or low hazards.
- Target Environmental Hazards: Shoot falling rocks, opening trapdoors, and incoming projectiles before Boomer walks directly beneath or into them.
- Collect Pickups: Shoot floating items like milk bottles and baby food to restore health and boost your score.
