B.C. Kid (also known as Bonk’s Adventure or Kyuukyoku PC Genjin) is a colorful 1994 arcade platformer. Players take control of Bonk, a tough caveboy with an oversized head, on a prehistoric quest to defeat King Drool and his army of dinosaur minions.
How to Play
The goal is to navigate through various prehistoric levels using Bonk’s signature headbutt to defeat enemies. You can also eat pieces of meat scattered throughout the stages to power up Bonk into a much stronger, angrier form. Default arcade controls map movement to the arrow keys, jumping to Z or X, and attacking to the other action button. Use Enter or Shift to insert coins and start.
Tips
- Tap the attack button repeatedly while in the air to perform a spinning headbutt, which slows your descent and easily clears out aerial enemies.
- Eating meat not only restores health but can transform Bonk into an invincible, screen-clearing powerhouse if you collect a large piece.
- Try bouncing off the heads of certain enemies or flowers to reach higher, hidden areas for extra points and items.
