Originally released in Japan as part of the Simple 1500 Series, All-Star Slammin’ D-Ball is a fast-paced arcade dodgeball game developed by Access and released in 2001 for the PlayStation. You can choose from eight unique teamsโincluding the Wild Cats, Ninjas, and Elementalsโeach with different ratings for throwing, catching, dashing, and dodging. The action is viewed from a horizontal perspective, challenging you to knock out all opposing infielders before the clock runs out.
How to Play
Your objective is to eliminate the opposing team by hitting their infielders with the dodgeball while avoiding being hit yourself. Use the Arrow Keys to move your players around the court. Use Z, X, A, and S to pass, throw, dodge, and catch the ball. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Gameplay Tips
- Build your special meter: Successfully catching incoming balls earns you points. You can spend these points to unleash powerful special throws like the boomerang or grenade, which can deal up to three times the normal damage.
- Aim your throws: Don’t just throw straight ahead. You can aim high, low, left, or right to catch your opponents off guard and bypass their dodging attempts.
