Game description:

Alice no Paint Adventure is a 1995 creative adventure game released exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES). Originally designed to be played with the Super Famicom Mouse, it features a unique blend of visual novel storytelling and interactive coloring. The game offers two distinct experiences: a Story Mode where players follow an Alice in Wonderland inspired narrative and progress by coloring in specific scenes, and a free-play Paint Mode for creating original artwork using the game’s built-in tools and stamps.

While originally designed for a mouse, you can navigate using standard SNES controls mapped to your keyboard. Use the D-pad (arrow keys) to move the cursor and the A or B buttons (Z or X) to click and interact with the interface. In Story Mode, follow the Japanese dialogue and color prompts to advance the plot. In Paint Mode, you can select from a variety of colors, brush sizes, and stamps from the toolbar to create your own pictures.

If you get stuck in Story Mode, try re-reading the last dialogue prompt; progress often requires selecting the right color and applying it to a specific part of the scene.
