Frogger is the classic 1981 action game developed by Konami, presented here in its Super Nintendo release. The premise is famously straightforward but highly challenging: you must safely guide a series of frogs across a busy highway to dodge oncoming traffic, and then navigate a hazardous river by hopping on moving logs and turtles, ultimately reaching the five coves at the top of the screen.
How to Play
Your goal is to fill all five home coves with frogs before the timer runs out. Timing and quick reflexes are essential. Use the controls below to navigate the hazards and safely dock your frogs:
| Gamepad control: | |
|
ââââ |
| action button A | Z |
| action button B | X |
| action buttons X, Y | A, S |
| shoulder buttons L, R | Q, E |
| SELECT | Shift |
| START | Enter |
Tips
- Turtles will periodically dive underwater. Watch for them turning red as a warning to jump off before they submerge and take your frog with them.
- Fill the most difficult edge coves first while you have more freedom of movement; leave the easier central coves for your final frogs.
- Catching a fly in an empty cove or rescuing a lady frog will earn you bonus points, but do not risk a life if the timing is too tight.
