Released for the Sega Master System, Krusty’s Fun House is a puzzle-platformer that puts a Simpsons spin on Lemmings-style gameplay. You control Krusty the Clown as he attempts to rid his Fun House of a massive rat infestation by guiding the rodents toward extermination devices manned by familiar characters like Bart and Homer.
How to Play
The rats move predictably, turning around only when they hit an obstacle. Your goal is to clear a safe path for them to reach the traps by picking up, carrying, and placing blocks. Use the D-pad (mapped to the arrow keys) to move Krusty, Button 1 (Z) to pick up or throw blocks, and Button 2 (X) to jump.
Tips
- Rats will climb up a single-block step but turn around if faced with a wall two or more blocks high. Use this behavior to steer them effectively.
- Krusty can carry only one block at a time, but he can also kick blocks across flat surfaces to quickly build staircases or seal off dead ends.
- Watch out for wandering enemies; Krusty can defeat them by throwing blocks or using weapon pickups, but your main priority is always the rats’ path.
