Game description:

Guzzler is a 1983 action game from Tehkan’s arcade catalogue, brought to the Sega SG-1000 by Tsukuda. Tehkan were prolific arcade developers in this era — their titles tend to be fast, reflex-driven challenges with difficulty that escalates quickly and rewards persistence over perfection.

How to play

Use the arrow keys to move. Z maps to button A, X to button B, and Enter starts or resets the game.

On the Sega SG-1000

The SG-1000 was Sega’s debut home console, launched in Japan on the same day as Nintendo’s Famicom. Its TMS9918 video chip was shared with the MSX and ColecoVision, giving games of this era a recognisable cross-platform look.
