Gobliins 2: The Prince Buffoon is a 1992 point-and-click puzzle adventure developed by Coktel Vision for DOS. You control two goblins simultaneously: the sensible and polite Fingus, and the rowdy, strong-willed Winkle. Unlike the first game, both goblins can be controlled at the same time and cannot die, allowing for more complex, timing-based puzzles where they must interact with objects and characters in different ways to progress and rescue the kidnapped Prince Buffoon.
How to play
You play using the mouse to point and click, directing Fingus and Winkle to move or interact with the environment. Each goblin will react differently to the same objectโFingus might read a sign, while Winkle might punch it. You will often need to coordinate their actions to solve puzzles.
The game is controlled by the same keys that are used when playing under MS-DOS. Use the mouse to interact with the environment. For fullscreen, press Right Alt + Enter.
Tips
- Always try using both Fingus and Winkle on every object and character you encounter; their unique reactions are the key to discovering the solution.
- Timing is sometimes important. You may need to have one goblin distract an enemy or activate a mechanism while the other sneaks past or grabs an item.
