Win, Lose or Draw is a 1990 NES party game by Hi Tech Expressions based on the popular television game show. Much like Pictionary, players try to guess a secret word or phrase based on a drawing being progressively revealed on the screen.
The objective is to correctly identify the drawn word before the timer runs out. You can play in an Automatic mode where the computer draws for you, or a Player mode where you use the D-pad to draw manually. To input guesses, use the D-pad (mapped to arrow keys) to navigate the on-screen keyboard, and press the A button (Z key) to confirm your selection.
If you find drawing with the D-pad difficult, stick to the Automatic mode to let the game handle the artwork. When typing your guesses, try to look for common prefixes and suffixes early, as the keyboard interface can be slow to navigate under a strict time limit.
