Game description:

Wild Trax (known internationally as Stunt Race FX) is a pioneering 3D racing game released for the Super Famicom in 1994. Co-developed by Nintendo and Argonaut Software, it famously utilized the Super FX chip to push 16-bit hardware into rendering fully polygonal vehicles and environments. Players race anthropomorphic cars across varied tracks, managing both a damage meter and a boost gauge in an effort to beat the clock and outpace rivals.

How to Play

Your goal is to cross the finish line before time runs out, passing through checkpoints to extend your remaining time. Taking damage from walls or other racers will slow your vehicle down. Use the default SNES web emulator controls: Arrow keys to steer, Z and X for your primary actions like accelerating and braking, and Enter to start.

Tips

Mastering your boost is critical for winning races. Collect the blue crystals scattered on the track to refill your boost gauge, and deploy it on long straightaways. Start with the balanced 4WD or Coupe vehicles to learn the tracks before trying to handle the fragile but speedy F-Type.
