Game description:

Wheel of Fortune – Family Edition is a 1990 puzzle game for the NES that brings the iconic television game show into the living room. Featuring family-friendly categories, up to three players can compete against friends or the computer in classic word-solving action.

How to Play

The goal is to solve hidden word puzzles by guessing letters and revealing the phrase. Spin the wheel to determine the cash value of your letters, but watch out for the Bankrupt and Lose a Turn wedges. The player with the most money at the end of the game wins. The default NES controls apply: use the D-pad (arrow keys) to navigate the on-screen keyboard, A (Z key) to select a letter, B (X key) to cancel, and Start (Enter) to pause.

Tips

Buying vowels early in a round is a smart way to reveal common letters and make the rest of the puzzle easier to guess. Be careful not to spin if you already know the answer, as hitting a Bankrupt or Lose a Turn wedge will give control to your opponents.
