Turpin is a classic 1981 arcade maze game developed by Konami and published by SEGA. Released as an alternate version of the arcade game Turtles, it puts players in control of a mother turtle navigating a maze-like building. Your objective is to rescue baby turtles scattered throughout the maze and safely return them to their home base one by one, all while dodging pursuing beetle enemies.
How to Play
You must guide the mother turtle through the maze, collecting the baby “kidturtles” and dropping them off at the exit. Avoid contact with the beetles chasing you. You can drop mines to temporarily stun these enemies and make a safe getaway.
- Movement: Arrow Keys
- Insert Coin: 5 or Shift
- Start: 1 or Enter
- Drop Mine (Action): Z / X / C or Ctrl / Alt / Space
Tips
- Plan Your Route: Since you must deliver baby turtles one at a time, clear out paths that give you the safest return trip to the home base.
- Use Mines Strategically: You have a limited supply of mines. Save them for when you are cornered by beetles, as stunned enemies will eventually recover.
