Taz-Mania is a side-scrolling platformer based on the classic Warner Bros. animated series. In this Sega Master System version, players control the famously ravenous Tasmanian Devil on a quest to find a giant seabird egg to feed his family. You must run, jump, and use Taz’s signature whirlwind spin to defeat enemies and navigate the hazardous Australian landscape.
How to play
Your objective is to reach the end of each stage while dodging hazards and fighting off enemies. Use the D-pad to move (mapped to the arrow keys on your keyboard) and buttons 1 and 2 to jump and perform your spin attack (mapped to the Z and X keys). You can press Enter to pause the game.
Tips
- Your spin attack can defeat most enemies, but it drains a stamina meter at the top of the screen. If the meter runs out, Taz will become dizzy and vulnerable to attacks.
- Look for various food items scattered across the levels to restore your health.
