Game description:

Street Fighter Zero 3 (released internationally as Street Fighter Alpha 3) is a 2D fighting game developed by Capcom and released for the Arcade in 1998. Building upon the foundation of its predecessors, it dramatically expands the character roster and introduces a revolutionary “Ism” system that lets players choose different fighting styles to match their preferences. Known for its fluid animation, deep mechanics, and intense competitive gameplay, it remains one of the most celebrated entries in the historic fighting game franchise.

How to Play

Choose your fighter and battle through a series of opponents in best-of-three rounds to reach the final boss. You must deplete your opponent’s health bar before the timer runs out. For Arcade emulation in your browser, use the Arrow Keys to move, jump, and crouch. Use Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. Attacks are typically mapped to Z, X, C for punches and A, S, D for kicks, giving you a full six-button layout for light, medium, and heavy attacks.

Tips

  • Understand the Isms: A-Ism gives you a standard three-tier super meter. X-Ism provides a single, high-damage super move but removes air blocking. V-Ism allows you to activate custom combo states for devastating, player-created sequences.
  • Watch the Guard Gauge: Just below your health bar is the Guard Crush gauge. It depletes as you block attacks. If it empties completely, your guard will break, leaving you temporarily stunned and open to a massive combo.
  • Master Alpha Counters: While blocking an attack (in A-Ism or V-Ism), you can perform an Alpha Counter to interrupt the opponent’s pressure and knock them away, giving you much-needed breathing room.
