Released by Capcom for the NES in 1990, Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight is a sci-fi action platformer that departs entirely from the traditional fighting game series. Taking control of the cyborg martial artist Ken, players must navigate hostile alien environments, utilizing multidirectional energy attacks and wall-climbing to hunt down specific targets and open dimensional portals before time runs out.
How to play
In each stage, your objective is to destroy the designated main enemy to open a portal, which you must enter to clear the level. Collect power-ups dropped by enemies to increase the range and strength of your energy projectiles. Use the Arrow keys to move, aim, and cling to surfaces. Press Z to attack and X to jump. Enter pauses the game.
Tips
- Mastering the backflip (press Up and X simultaneously) is crucial for quickly dodging enemy fire and navigating vertical platforming sections.
- You can aim your attacks in multiple directions, including diagonally and straight up, which is essential for taking out aerial enemies safely.
- Focus your efforts on finding and defeating the main target; trying to clear out all the infinitely spawning weaker enemies will only waste the strict time limit.
