How to Play
Your objective is to survive the stage without being overwhelmed by the explosions. Use the arrow keys to move and Z, X, or C to jump and spin dash. The ring system has been completely overhauled for this challenge: you cannot recollect dropped rings, and taking damage will instantly drain 20 rings from your total. The game provides infinite lives, allowing you to quickly retry difficult sections without a Game Over.
Tips
- Keep moving: Tails will constantly try to follow and land near your position, so staying in one place for too long guarantees an explosion right where you are standing.
- Prioritise shields: Since you cannot pick up scattered rings after a hit, grabbing a shield is the most reliable way to survive. It absorbs up to three hits and reduces the ring penalty.
