Game description:

Smash Remix 1.5.2 is a massive community expansion for the classic Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. It dramatically enhances the original fighting game by adding a wide roster of new playable characters, custom stages, and fresh gameplay modes, all while faithfully preserving the authentic physics and mechanics of the N64 release.

How to Play

The goal is to build up your opponents’ damage percentages and launch them off the stage. Use your mapped analog stick (often the arrow keys) to move and jump, and the A and B buttons for standard and special attacks. Experiment with directional inputs combined with attack buttons to unleash different techniques for each character.

Tips

Take some time in Training Mode to get a feel for the newly added characters, as their movesets from later games have been uniquely adapted to fit the 1999 game’s mechanics. Remember to use Z-canceling by pressing the shield button just before landing an aerial attack, which removes landing lag and keeps your combos going.
