Game description:

Sanrio World Smash Ball! is a competitive action-sports game released for the Super Famicom (SNES) in 1993. It combines the rapid back-and-forth gameplay of Air Hockey or Pong with the block-breaking elements of Arkanoid. You choose from popular Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Hangyodon, and Pokopon, each with their own unique stage layouts, and attempt to smash a disc past your opponent on the court.

How to Play

The objective is to score points by knocking the ball past your opponent. The court often features destructible blocks that can alter the ball's trajectory or drop power-ups to give you an edge. The SNES controls are mapped to your browser: use the arrow keys (D-pad) to move your character, and the face buttons (mapped to Z, X, A, S) to swing at the ball. Press Enter to Start.

Tips

  • Charge your shots: You can hold down the swing button to charge up a power shot, which hits the ball much faster and can break through multiple blocks at once.
  • Control the angles: Hitting the ball with the edge of your character will send it flying at sharp angles, making it much harder for your opponent to intercept.
