Riding Fight is a unique pseudo-3D beat ’em up released by Taito for the Arcade in 1992. Taking place in a futuristic setting, players control bounty hunters Burn Bowie or Keith Jager as they speed forward on hoverboards, fighting off the “Death Serpent” syndicate. It blends high-speed forward movement with traditional brawler combat, letting you punch, kick, and use weapons while constantly racing down the stage.
How to Play
The objective is to survive each stage by defeating enemy hoverboard riders and taking down the boss at the end of the track. In the browser, the standard arcade controls use the arrow keys to steer your hoverboard, while the primary action keys (typically Z and X) are used to attack and jump. Press Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. You can pick up dropped weapons from enemies and breakable objects to gain an edge in combat.
Tips
As you land consecutive hits on enemies, a special meter fills up. Once full, you can unleash a devastating attack that is crucial for dealing massive damage to bosses. Keep an eye out for sandwiches scattered across the levels to replenish your health during tough fights.
