Riding Fight is a pseudo-3D arcade beat ’em up released by Taito in 1992. Set in a futuristic cyberpunk world, players control characters riding on high-speed hoverboards (airboards) while fighting off waves of enemies. Instead of traditional side-scrolling combat, you move forward into the screen, dodging obstacles, punching rival bikers, and ramming opponents off the road.
How to Play
Your goal is to survive each stage by defeating enemies and taking down the boss at the end of the track. You can attack using physical strikes or by ramming enemy hoverboards into the environment.
Controls:
- Arrow Keys: Move left, right, up, and down
- Z / X Keys: Punch and Jump
- Shift Key: Insert Coin
- Enter Key: Start Game
Tips
- Ramming is highly effective; push smaller enemies into walls or off the track instead of just punching them.
- Use your jump to avoid ground hazards and clear larger obstacles.
- Pick up power-ups dropped by defeated enemies to upgrade your attacks or restore health.
