Red Sea Crossing is a 1983 Atari 2600 action game from Inspirational Video Concepts, built around the biblical account of Moses leading the Israelites across the parted Red Sea. It was sold exclusively by mail order to Christian consumers — never stocked in any retail store — which left so few copies in circulation that a single cartridge later sold at auction for over $10,000. This browser version is one of the easiest ways to experience it.
How to Play
Guide Moses across the parted waters, clearing gaps and obstacles on the way to the far shore. The game rewards deliberate movement over speed: read each gap, time the step, commit — rushing into the water means starting over.
Controls (Player 1): Arrow keys to move · Spacebar to act · F12 to reset · F11 to change game mode · Alt+P to pause.
