How to Play
Each round is split into three distinct phases: building, cannon placement, and combat. During combat, use your cannons to sink enemy ships or destroy grunts making landfall. In the repair phase, you must quickly fit Tetris-style wall pieces around your surviving castles to seal your perimeter and stay alive.
- D-pad / Arrow Keys: Move the crosshair or wall pieces.
- A / B (Z / X): Fire cannons or place a wall piece.
- L / R (A / S): Rotate your current wall piece during the repair phase.
Tips
- Don’t get greedy: It is often better to enclose a small, tight perimeter around a single castle than to try and save a sprawling fortress and fail. If a castle isn’t fully enclosed, you lose it!
- Target the red ships: Enemy ships with red sails will fire flaming cannonballs that leave persistent fires on your land, preventing you from placing walls over those tiles. Sink them first.
- Overlap walls: You can place new wall pieces over existing undamaged walls to quickly fill gaps or reinforce your defenses.
