Game description:

R.B.I. Baseball ’93 is Tengen’s 1993 Sega Genesis entry in the long-running R.B.I. Baseball series, the arcade-style baseball franchise that traces back to Atari Games’ 1987 coin-op. Like the rest of the series, it pairs real MLBPA-licensed player rosters and stats with fast, accessible arcade action rather than a full simulation, making it a quick pick-up-and-play alternative to the more detailed sports sims of the era.

How to play

Use the D-pad to select pitches and aim your throws, choose a swing timing at the plate, and control fielders and baserunners with the action buttons once the ball is in play — the same pitcher/batter duel and quick-reflex fielding that defined the series on other consoles.

In the browser, this maps to the arrow keys for movement/pitch and base selection, with Z, X, and C standing in for the Genesis A, B, and C buttons.
