Released in 1996 by ACE International, Pocket Gals V.I.P. is an arcade billiards game that builds on the foundation of classic physics-based pool titles. You play through a series of challenging table layouts, facing off against different female opponents. As a mature-themed release characteristic of 90s arcades, successfully sinking balls and clearing stages unlocks increasingly revealing artwork of your challengers.
How to Play
Your objective is to sink all the target balls to progress to the next stage before you run out of shots or foul. Use the directional controls to aim your cue, then press the primary action button to lock in your shot strength on the power meter. Before shooting, you can also adjust where the cue stick strikes the white ball to apply spin.
Tips
- Pay close attention to your spin indicator; applying backspin helps prevent the cue ball from following your target into the pocket on straight shots.
- Always consider your next move. Managing your shot power so the cue ball stops in a favorable position is far more effective than just hitting hard.
