Released for DOS in 1990 by Locis, Perestroika is a fast-paced action game reflecting the political shifts in the Soviet Union. You guide a small creature across a swamp by hopping onto lily pads, racing to reach the exit at the top right of the screen while collecting items and dodging aggressive “bureaucrats” that pursue you.
How to play
Use the arrow keys or numpad to jump diagonally from one lily pad to the next. The pads constantly shrink and sink into the water, requiring you to keep moving to survive while avoiding the enemies.
