Penguin Kun Wars is a fast-paced arcade sports game for the NES where you compete in a frantic, dodgeball-style tournament against various animal challengers. The objective of each match is simple: roll the ten balls across the table to get them all onto your opponent’s side, or have fewer balls on your half when the 60-second timer runs out.

How to Play

Use the Arrow keys to move your penguin left and right across your side of the table. Press Z or X to pick up and throw a ball. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.

Tips

• If you get hit by a rolling ball, your character will be knocked down and stunned for a few seconds, which can quickly cost you the match. Prioritise dodging over throwing when multiple balls are heading your way.
• Balls rolling from opposite sides will deflect off each other if they collide in the middle of the table. Use this defensively to block incoming shots.
