Morita Shougi 64 (Japan) is a traditional Japanese chess simulator released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998. Designed to offer an authentic Shogi experience, the game features challenging AI opponents and clear 3D board perspectives suited for both beginners and experienced players.

How to Play

Your objective is to checkmate the opponent’s king using traditional Shogi rules and piece movements. The standard Nintendo 64 controls apply: use the D-pad or analog stick to navigate the board, A to select and place pieces, and B to cancel your selection. Press Start to pause the game.
