How to Play
The main objective is to explore the dungeon using different family members to collect four hidden crowns, which are required to retrieve the Dragon Slayer sword. By default, the NES controls in the browser map the Arrow Keys to movement, Z to jump (A), X to use your equipped item or attack (B), Enter to pause (Start), and Shift to select items (Select).
Tips
- Use the family pet, Pochi, to scout dangerous areas early on; enemy monsters won’t deal contact damage to him, making him great for gathering resources.
- Only Roas (the son) can wield the Dragon Slayer sword and fight the final boss. Rely on the rest of the family to defeat the four dungeon bosses first.
- Keep a mental map of where inns are located within the dungeon to restore your health and magic, as resource management is critical to surviving long expeditions.
