Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen is a 1987 side-scrolling action and wrestling game released for the Famicom Disk System. Based on the popular manga and anime series, the game mixes standard platforming segments with one-on-one wrestling boss battles. You can switch between five classic charactersโincluding Robin Mask, Terryman, and Warsmanโas you fight through stages to ultimately claim the Kinniku throne.
How to Play
Clear the side-scrolling stages by defeating enemy minions, then defeat the boss in a wrestling match at the end of the stage. In the browser, movement is mapped to your Arrow Keys, with Up used to jump. Use the Z and X keys to punch and kick. When you get close to an opponent, your character will automatically grapple them; you must then quickly time a button press to execute a body slam or throw. You can pause the game with Enter to swap your active fighter.
Tips
- The window for grappling is incredibly strict. Once your character locks up with an enemy, immediately input your throw command, or you will be the one taking damage.
- Experiment with character switching during difficult sections. Keeping your team healthy is vital since they do not fully heal between stages.
