Developed by Manley & Associates in 1991, Home Alone for DOS is an action-strategy adaptation of the classic holiday film. Rather than a traditional platformer, this version focuses on survival and preparation, putting you in control of Kevin McCallister as he defends his home from Harry and Marv, the infamous Wet Bandits.
How to Play
The game is split into two phases: you begin with one in-game hour to explore the house and gather household items to set up as traps. Once the clock runs out, the bandits break in, and your objective is to lure them into the traps you prepared. You must deal ten hits to each robber without getting caught yourself.

Tips
- You can only carry a limited number of items at a time, so focus on setting traps in high-traffic areas where you can easily lead the bandits.
- Remember where you placed your own traps; if Kevin walks into one, it will trigger and you will lose that defense.
- Keep an eye on the indicators showing where Harry and Marv are in the house so you don’t accidentally run into them.
