The Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak! is a side-scrolling action platformer developed and published by Taito for the NES in 1993, based on Hanna-Barbera’s animated series. In North America the game was a Blockbuster Video rental exclusive — it was never sold individually at retail — which has made original cartridges among the rarest and most valuable in the NES library. Set in the stone-age suburb of Bedrock, the game takes Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble through a series of prehistoric stages full of creatures and obstacles.
How to Play
Arrow keys move your character and duck. X (NES A) jumps and Z (NES B) attacks. Enter starts the game and pauses between stages. Make your way through each level by jumping over gaps, batting away enemies, and reaching the exit to advance.
