Game description:

Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls is a 2D fighting game released for the SNES in 1994 by Tradewest. Departing from the franchise’s traditional beat-’em-up roots, this entry is heavily inspired by the Double Dragon animated series. Players choose from a roster of familiar heroes and new villains to battle in one-on-one matches.

How to Play

Select your fighter and reduce your opponent’s health bar to zero to win the round. The game relies on a classic six-button fighting layout. For playing SNES in the browser, use the Arrow keys to move, jump, and crouch. Punches (Y, X, L) are mapped to A, S, and Q, while kicks (B, A, R) are mapped to Z, X, and W. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.

Tips

  • Each character has an Overkill move that can be executed when the opponent is defeated in the final round, acting as a finishing blow.
  • Blocking is crucial; hold away from your opponent to defend against incoming attacks, but watch out for chip damage from special moves.
