Play a bootleg arcade release of Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone, the 1990 side-scrolling beat ’em up originally developed by Technōs Japan. This version features the exact same gameplay as the official arcade cabinet, following martial artists Billy and Jimmy Lee as they travel the globe to collect the mystical Rosetta Stones. You will face street gangs, mutants, and martial arts masters across various countries.
How to play
As a classic arcade beat ’em up, your goal is to clear each stage of enemies before facing a boss. Move your character using the joystick (mapped to the arrow keys) and attack using the punch, kick, and jump buttons (usually mapped to Z, X, and C). Press the coin button (Shift) to insert credits, then press Start (Enter) to begin.
Tips
- The arcade version features item shops where you can purchase weapons, extra health, and power-ups. Use your coin button to “buy” these upgrades to help survive later levels.
- Try to line enemies up on one side of the screen; getting surrounded is the fastest way to lose health.
- Master the running attacks to safely engage enemies from a distance.
