Double Dragon II: The Revenge is a classic beat ’em up developed by Technōs Japan and released for the NES in 1990. Following the events of the first game, brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee return to avenge the loss of Marion. Unlike the first NES port, this sequel features full two-player cooperative play, making it a definitive cooperative brawler of the era.
The game uses a directional attack system rather than traditional punch and kick buttons. One button always attacks to the left, and the other always attacks to the right, regardless of which direction your character is facing. For the NES in a browser, use the arrow keys to move, Z and X to attack, and Enter and Shift for Start and Select.
The Cyclone Spin Kick is one of the most powerful moves in the game. To perform it, jump and press an attack button at the exact apex of your jump. When playing in two-player mode, choose Game A to avoid accidentally damaging your partner, or Game B if you want friendly fire enabled.
