Donkey Kong Jr Japan is a classic arcade platformer released by Nintendo in 1982. In a reversal of roles from the original game, you play as Donkey Kong’s son, Junior, who must embark on a rescue mission to save his father from a cage guarded by Mario.
How to Play
Your objective is to navigate each stage by climbing vines, chains, and ropes to reach the keys and free Donkey Kong. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move and climb, Z or X to jump, and Enter or Shift for Start and Select.
Tips
- Climb faster: Junior climbs much faster when holding two vines at once instead of just one.
- Slide down safely: Sliding down a single vine is quicker than sliding down two. Use this to quickly dodge enemies moving upwards.
- Drop fruit: Position yourself above enemies and drop fruit on them to clear your path and earn extra points.
