Disney’s Tarzan is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer developed by Eurocom and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Based on the classic Disney animated feature, the game follows Tarzan’s growth from childhood to adulthood as he swings through jungle canopies, surfs down tree trunks, and defends his gorilla family from poachers and predators.
How to Play
Guide Tarzan through each stage by jumping across vines, swinging between trees, and avoiding hazards like sharp rocks and dangerous wildlife. Attack enemies by swinging your stick or throwing collected fruit such as acorns and mangos. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys or WASD to navigate, Z to jump, X to attack or throw fruit, and Enter for Start.
Tips
- Spell out T-A-R-Z-A-N by collecting the hidden letter tokens scattered in each stage to unlock secret bonus levels.
- Save your heavy fruit (like mangos) for tougher enemies like baboons and bosses, using basic acorns for weaker targets.
- Time your jumps during tree-surfing sections right as Tarzan reaches the edge of a branch to maintain momentum and clear wide gaps.
