Game description:

Developed by Loriciel SA and released for the Sega Genesis in 1992, Davis Cup World Tour is a 16-bit tennis simulation that brings the prestige of international tennis competition to home consoles. Players compete across worldwide court surfaces in singles and doubles matches, managing court positioning and shot execution to rally through tough tournaments.

How to Play

The objective is to win games, sets, and matches by maneuvering your player into position and timing shots to outplace opponents across hard, clay, and grass courts.

  • Move / Aim: Arrow keys (D-Pad)
  • Shots / Serves: S, X, and Z keys (A, B, and C buttons)
  • Pause / Start: Enter key (Start button)
  • Option Mode: Shift key (Mode button)

Tips

  • Anticipate opponent shot direction early to position your player near the baseline before executing a return.
  • Vary your shot types and depths between topspin and lob shots to force opponents off-balance and set up passing shots.
