Crude Buster World Fx Version is the 1990 arcade beat ’em up by Data East, widely known in the West as Two Crude or Two Crude Dudes. Set in a post-apocalyptic New York City, players control a pair of muscle-bound mercenaries hired to take back the streets from the mutant terrorist organization “Big Valley.” What sets this brawler apart from others of its era is its heavy emphasis on grappling and throwing; you can pick up almost anything in the environment—from wrecked cars and street signs to the enemies themselves—and hurl them as weapons.

How to Play

Your objective is to punch, kick, and throw your way through waves of enemies and bosses across several ruined city stages. As an arcade title, you will need to insert virtual coins to play: press Shift to insert a coin, then Enter to start. Use the arrow keys to move, Z to attack, and X to jump. To pick up heavy objects or enemies, walk into them and press attack; press attack again to throw them.

Tips
