Crude Buster (also known as Two Crude or Two Crude Dudes) is a post-apocalyptic arcade beat ’em up developed by Data East in 1990. Set in a ruined, mutant-infested New York in the year 2010, you play as muscle-bound mercenaries hired by the government to clear the city. What sets this brawler apart from others of its era is the ability to pick up and weaponise almost anything on screenโincluding burned-out cars, street lights, debris, and even the enemies themselves.
How to Play
The objective is to fight your way through the devastated city, defeating waves of mutants and end-of-level bosses to reach the mad scientist controlling them. For the browser-based Arcade version, use your keyboard to control the action:

Tips
- Throw everything: The game is built around grabbing heavy objects. Tossing a wrecked car clears out multiple enemies much faster than punching them.
- Buddy system: In two-player mode, you can pick up your partner and hurl them at enemies for massive damage without hurting them.
- Dodge rolling: Pressing Jump while holding down allows you to perform a quick roll, which is essential for evading boss attacks and projectiles.
