🎮 Play Crisis Force (Japan) [En by Stardust Crusaders v1.0] Online (NES)

Crisis Force is a technically impressive vertical-scrolling shoot ’em up developed by Konami and released for the Famicom (NES) in 1991. Pushing the console’s hardware to its limits, it features fast-paced action, parallax scrolling, and detailed sprites. Players pilot an advanced fighter craft through waves of enemy forces across diverse environments. You can transform your ship on the fly to adapt to different attack patterns, and two players can even combine their ships for a devastating temporary attack.

How to Play

Survive the scrolling stages and defeat the boss at the end of each level. Use the Arrow keys to move your ship. Press Z to shoot and X to change your ship’s transformation mode, altering your firing spread. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select. In a two-player game, both players must coordinate their movements when combining ships.

Tips

• Your ship’s three transformations (Front, Side, and Rear) are essential; switch to the Rear form when enemies spawn behind you.
• Collect the blue orbs to power up your weapons, but be careful—taking a hit will downgrade your firepower before destroying your ship.
• In co-op mode, try to save your combined ship form for difficult boss encounters, as it provides immense firepower and temporary invincibility.
