Cocona World is an obscure adventure and virtual pet simulation released by SOFEL in 1987 for the Famicom Disk System in Japan. Rather than focusing on action, this unique title blends exploration with pet management mechanics. You guide a young witch named Cocona through a top-down world, monitoring her mood and health to ensure she stays happy as you explore.
Your main objective is to fulfill Cocona’s requests and keep her meters high; failing to do so will result in a Game Over. Since this is a Famicom Disk System game, you may be prompted to flip the disk during play. Use the D-pad (mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys) to navigate, the A and B buttons (Z and X keys) to interact and use items, and Start/Select (Enter/Shift) to manage your menus.
